Kinds of Yoga

There are different kinds of yoga. One of the more popular ones is Bikram yoga which follows a series of yoga positions called Asanas. These are performed in a very warm room set at 105 degrees temperature. The extreme heat allows stretching of the joints and muscles for a more flexible extension. Mantra yoga on the other hand consists of meditations practiced by repeating specific sacred sounds in Hindu of Vedic language. It is supposed to enhance changes of consciousness.
