Learn to free your mind from the senses to achieve inner peace. Yoga, or “union” in Sanskrit, are forms of discipline practiced initially in Buddhism and Hinduism. The goal is for the yogi (one who follows yoga) to achieve “Samadhi” or union with “Brahma”, the diety, and fuse into oneness.

In Hindu tradition, there are 3 varieties of yoga:~Karma yoga – salvation through action~Jnana yoga – salvation through knowledge~Bhakti yoga – salvation through devotionOn the other hand, the practice of hatha yoga, based on physical postures and control, has become increasingly popular in Western countries.
